From what I can tell, most teams do a lousy job of it; the Orioles, Twins and A's have not retired any numbers of players from before their relocations, and the Twins have a Twins' Hall of Fame with no Senators inducted (the O's and A's don't have Halls at all). And this makes me think, "That's a real shame." But, yeah- which teams embrace their pre-re-location history, and which don't? And do any teams in cities that 'used' to have another team do anything about that? Like the Baltimore Orioles of 'today' having something honoring the legendary Orioles of the 1890s.... Read More »
